Jewelry Business Name Generator

Enter one word you would be happy saying out loud for ten years. You get 12 names a press, each labelled with the technique that built it.

Type a keyword above, then press Generate. Concrete words beat abstract ones: try opal, solder, tide, north, or the street your bench sits on.

Two checks most founders skip. First, say each shortlisted name out loud at market-stall volume, then ask someone to spell it back to you. If they hesitate, you will spend the next ten years repeating it over a card reader. Second, search the name on Instagram before you fall for it. A dormant account sitting on the handle costs you more than a taken .com, because you can trade a domain extension but you cannot trade a handle.

Can I use a name from this generator legally?

The generator suggests names, it does not clear them. Before you print anything, search your national trademark register, check your company or state business register, and look for another jeweler already trading under it. A name is only safe to build on once all three come back empty.

Should I use my own name for a jewelry brand?

It works while you are the face of the bench, and it gets awkward if you ever want to sell the business or hire other makers. Personal names also compete in search with everyone who shares them. If you want something that outlives your involvement, pick a name that stands on its own.

    Does the .com still matter?

Less than it did, but it still signals seriousness to wholesale buyers and stockists. If the .com is gone, a short exact-match alternative such as .co or .studio beats adding shop, the, or jewelry to the front of your name. Extra words get dropped, mistyped, and lost.

How many names should I shortlist?

Collect about forty, then leave them for a day. Come back and cut to five without rereading your notes from yesterday. Names that survive a cold read are the ones that survive a decade of packaging, invoices, and search results.
