Ready. 0 names generated.
No names yet. Type one plain word above — ember, linen, or your street name — choose a niche, then press Generate 12 names.
Pick three names, not one, then say each one out loud to someone who cannot see it written down. The one that gets spelled correctly on the first try is the one that will survive market stalls, wholesale calls and voicemails. Spelling ambiguity costs you far more sales over a year than an unavailable .com does.
Do I have to register the name I pick?
Not while you are testing it. Once you sell under the name, most states expect either an LLC formed under that exact name or a DBA filed against the entity you already have. Run your Secretary of State entity search before you order labels, not after.
How do I check whether a candle name is already taken?
Four checks, in this order: your state entity search, the USPTO trademark database under class 4 for candles and class 35 for retail, the .com, then the social handles. A name that clears all four is worth building on.
Should the word candle be in the name?
Only if candles are the whole plan. Northwind Candle Co. reads clearly and boxes you in the day you add diffusers, soap or refills. Naming the feeling instead of the product buys you room to grow.
How long should a candle brand name be?
Two words, or under fourteen characters. It has to sit legibly on a 2.5 inch label, survive being read down a phone line, and work as a handle without numbers or underscores bolted on the end.
